Introduction

Confidence is not inborn-it is something you construct, Unlike popular opinion , self-belief isn't an enhanced quality only a select few are blessed with . Its more like a muscle-the more it is exercised , the more powerful it is .

Try something new  → Feel fear  → Do it anyway  → Develop skill  → Confidence builds  → Repeat

Everybody stalls at step two : they feel fear and quit . But fear means growth is coming . Welcome it and the rest of the loop happens automatically .

  • Dress with purpose - Wear clothing that makes you feel powerful not fashionable . 
  • Maintain eye contact - It signals presence and power .
  • Slow your speech - Fast talking can signal insecurity . Slow down and breathe .
  • Reflect on past twins - Keep a "confidence file" of your achievements .
  • Stand tall - Body language affects brain chemistry . Shoulders back , chin up 

Final thought

Confidence is not the opposite of fear-it is the act of moving forward in spite of it . You create it one little victory at a time . So next time doubt arises , tell yourself : You do not have to be ready to start . You just need to start .
